Happy New Year!

Well, here I am again. In the more than a year since I posted to my blog, it’s become hard for me to write. Also since then, I’ve gotten an iPhone, making my tech life much more mobile. Because of that, I’ve decided to start fresh with tumblr.

I hope to daily post little things, like what’s making me happy that day, or a quote, or a poem (I’ve been writing little ditties, so you may have to deal with that, sorry). Much of this comes from trying to understanding how and what I feel on a daily basis. Hopefully, this will help me do that.

So, here we go—this is making me happy today…

…a cup of tea and an almost-finished pair of socks. I’ve been drinking a lot of hot tea lately, not sure why, but I’m really enjoying it. And the socks—well, these are the first socks I’ve knit in over a year, so that makes me very happy, plus the fact that they’re almost done makes me even happier. I’m calling these the Holiday Standoff socks, as I finished most of the first sock while off this week because of the thing at work. Goofy, yes, but it makes me happy.

So Happy New Year, everybody, I hope it’s a good one for all of us.
